Sudipen is a 3rd class municipality in the province of La Union, Philippines. According to the 2011 census, it has a population of more than 20,000 people in more than 2,900 households.

Sudipen is located 312 kilometers North-north west of Manila, the Capital City of the Philippines, 43 kilometers away from the City of San Fernando, La Union, the Regional Center of Region I. It is bounded on the west by the municipality of Bangar and Balaoan, La Union, on the east and north by the famous Amburayan River and the Province of Ilocos Sur and on the south, the Municipality of Santol.
Sudipen has a total land area of 97 square kilometers, making it the 4th Largest Municipality by land area in the Province of La Union. Barangay Bulalaan is the largest Barangay with land area of 8,988 hectares and Barangay Poblacion has the smallest land area with only 0.82 square kilometer.
Sudipen is politically subdivided into 17 barangays.
